"This innovation is good for midwives, they are door to door to provide services, however, if there are problems, they immediately ask for help from the TNI / Polri," he said.

Meanwhile, a member of Commission IX of the DPR RI, Edy Wuryanto in his speech said, the problems faced by these midwives were certainly very many, one of which was reducing the maternal mortality rate (AKI) and child and infant mortality rate (AKAB) in Blora district.

"Midwives have an important responsibility. Currently, AKAB and AKI in Blora are still high compared to other districts. One of these roles is midwives, they must accompany them at all times," said Edy.

Edy explained that in entering the period of giving birth to these mothers, there must be preparation.

"If the preparation is good, it will also be good, if it is bad, it will definitely be difficult during childbirth," said Edy.

Not only assisting, midwives must also be able to make pregnant women independent, not just check.

"Education for pregnant women is also important, training them too," added Edy.

Not only the AKI and AKAB numbers are high, the task of midwives in Blora Regency must also participate in reducing stunting rates.

"The stunting rate in Blora is currently around 27 percent   , therefore I hope the participation of midwives and the support of the district government can continue to reduce the stunting rate in Blora," said Edy.

With IBI's huge responsibility, Edy invited the Blora Midwives to participate in BPJS Employment.

"Although most of them have been registered with BPJS for employment, and that's just an accident and death category, of course I think it's lacking, therefore I encourage the district government to also back up the old-age and pension benefits, this is certainly important for them in the future," he hoped. Eddy.

After the opening of the event, the BPJS Employment socialization was continued to midwives. (Endah/KOM)
