INFOKU, BLORA –Awalk back from the Pancasila Monument to the Blora District Attorney's Office (Kejari) and the Blora DPRDwas carried out byactivist Lilik Yuliantoro.
The action was carried out to convey aspirations regarding the construction of People's Schools (SR).
In his action, Mat Tohek brought a number of children's toys as well as miniature trucks carrying fill material and heavy excavator equipment.
These objects became symbols of criticism of the land clearing and land preparation process for the construction of SR.
Upon arriving at the Blora District Attorney's Office, Lilik handed over a yellow card symbol as a form of warning, so that law enforcement officers would follow up on the issues he criticized.
Civil Servant
He requested that firm action be taken if the ASN with the initials STY in the Housing, Settlement and Transportation Service (Dinrumkimhub) is proven to have committed a violation.
Lilik also asked the contractor to provide an explanation to the public if errors were found in the implementation of the work.
" What we're asking is simple: if there are violations, don't cover them up. Civil servants found to have violated the law must be sanctioned, and contractors must also have the courage to provide clarification and apologize to the public," he told the press .
Apart from this issue, he highlighted the alleged giving of Rp. 300 thousand, which he said needed to be investigated further by law enforcement officials.
According to him, the SR project uses state funds, so the public has the right to know the implementation process openly.
" This is state money, sourced from the people, and used for the benefit of the people. Therefore, there should be no provision of money that would raise questions among the public," he said.
Money to Shut Down Criticism…?
Lilik also questioned the purpose of giving the money.
He assessed that if the money was related to efforts to suppress criticism or news coverage of the People's School project, this issue needed serious attention.
" If the Rp 300,000 donation is given, we certainly question its intent. This shouldn't be a ploy to silence the public and the media, " he stressed.
He asked the Blora District Attorney to investigate the alleged flow of funds transparently.
In addition, the Blora DPRD was asked to carry out its supervisory function regarding the construction of SR.
" We're issuing this yellow card as a warning. We want the Prosecutor's Office to truly address this issue and investigate it openly, so it doesn't just become an issue, " he said.
Lilik also emphasized that all stages of SR construction, including landfilling and land preparation, must be monitored by the public and the media.
" Because this involves state funds, the process must be transparent. The public has a right to know how the work is being done and where the funds are being spent, " he said.
Will be followed up by the DPRD
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Blora DPRD, Agus Lis, received the aspirations conveyed by Lilik .
He said that the input would be forwarded to the leadership and members of the Blora DPRD to be used as discussion material.
" We accept what Mr. Lilik has said. We will forward this aspiration to the leadership and members of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) for further action within the DPRD's authority, " said Agus.
Agus said that the Blora DPRD remains committed to paying attention to the interests of the community.
" We hope the issues that have arisen during the construction of the People's School can be resolved soon, " he concluded. ( Endah/ IST )
