INFOKU, BLORA -Blora Regent Arief Rohman, expressed his condolences and prayers for the people who were victims of disasters in a number of regions in Indonesia. The message was delivered after the Commemoration Ceremony of the 81st Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia at the Blora Regency level, at Blora Square, Monday (17/8/2026).
In the midst of the momentum of the independence commemoration, Regent Arief invited the people of Blora to share the grief experienced by their fellow countrymen who were struck by disaster.
"Of course, on this occasion, we represent the people of Blora Regency in expressing our condolences for the disaster that occurred in NTT and also Sulawesi and Sumatra," he said.
He prayed that the deceased victims would find the best place in God's sight and that the affected communities would receive immediate treatment and assistance.
He hopes that all victims and affected communities can immediately receive the assistance they need.
Regent Arief also said that the people of Blora Regency would participate in helping the victims through donations and other forms of concern.
He emphasized that the spirit of independence can also be realized through concern and mutual cooperation to help others.

The 81st Indonesian Independence Day commemoration ceremony in Blora Regency proceeded smoothly and solemnly. Regent Arief personally commended the 31 members of the 2026 Blora Regency Flag Raising Team for their excellent performance in raising the Red and White flag.
"Thank God, we just held the August 17th ceremony at the district level, and it went smoothly and successfully. Thank you to the entire Paskibraka team for carrying out their duties well and smoothly," said Regent Arief.
The 81st Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence at the Blora Regency level took place solemnly at the Blora Regency Square. Regent Arief Rohman served as the ceremony inspector.
In addition to the ceremony, the series of commemorations for the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence at the Blora Regency level also included the symbolic presentation of a number of awards and assistance.
The Blora Regency Government awarded the 2026 Satyalancana Karya Satya to three civil servants: Dr. Sistika Setyaningsih for 10 years of service, Laxmono Sasongko Kusumo for 20 years of service, and Agustinus Muning Suprihadi for 30 years of service.
On the same occasion, remissions were handed over to prisoners based on the Decree of the Minister of Immigration and Corrections of the Republic of Indonesia in 2026 concerning the Granting of General Remissions to Prisoners in 2026. The remissions were symbolically given to representatives.
The Blora Regency Government also provided social assistance to the Blora Regency LVRI as a form of attention and appreciation to veterans who have provided service to the nation and state. (Setyorini)
