INFOKU, BLORA – Ahead of the Eid homecoming and return flow , repairs to a number of provincial and national roads in Blora Regency are being accelerated.
The target is to complete it 10 days before Eid al-Fitr .
Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi said that the target for completing roads in districts and cities is before Eid.
"Infrastructure in Central Java has reached 70 percent completion, and we are targeting completion ten days before the project," he said.
Separately, Road Consultant from PT Utama Cipta Mandiri, Argo Dewantoro, said that the work will focus on the Rembang - Blora - Cepu national road section , which has many damaged points.
"Currently, repairs are underway at kilometer 145 of the Rembang-Blora road section, where the damage extends over 500 meters. There will also be minor damage on the Blora-Cepu road section," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) 3.6 of Central Java Province, Central Java -DIY National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN) , Arif Agus Setyawan, told the press that the central government had allocated around IDR 3 billion for minor repairs of one layer of asphalt on two national roads in Blora Regency.
"Minor renovations on two sections include repairs to the Rembang-Blora section on Jalan Ahmad Yani, which is approximately 1.3 kilometers long and worth around Rp 2 billion. Meanwhile, the Blora-Cepu section on Jalan Sudirman is 0.5 kilometers long and worth around Rp 1 billion," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
