The Mystery of the Pajang Heirloom That Remains Hidden After Nyi Rondokuning Moksa

INFOKU, BLORA -Nyi Rondho Kuning is a female figure who is associated with the history of the Pajang Kingdom, especially in the context of the search for the kingdom's heirlooms.

After the collapse of the Demak Kingdom and the founding of the Pajang Kingdom under Sultan Hadiwijaya (Jaka Tingkir).

During that time, there was political strife and turmoil, including the loss of several important royal heirlooms.

To strengthen the power and stability of the kingdom, Sultan Hadiwijaya or his followers tried to find the lost heirlooms.

In the midst of this search, the figure of Nyi Rondho Kuning appeared.

She is described as a widow (rondo) who is powerful, beautiful, and has influence in the Jiken area, Blora.

Some versions say he is a descendant of an important figure in the past or has ties to local supernatural powers.

It is said that he has knowledge or even holds one of the sought-after heirlooms.

According to the legend, Nyi Rondho Kuning finally "moksa" or mysteriously disappeared in a place, which later became a sacred location or pilgrimage which is visited on pilgrimage to this day in the Blora area.
