Blora Junior High School Students Bullied in the Bathroom, 33 Students Summoned by Police

INFOKU, BLORA -The alleged bullying of junior high school students in Blora has gone viral on social media. 

Currently, 33 students are being summoned by the police.

In the 25-second video recording that was circulated, students wearing scout uniforms can be seen surrounding a student wearing sportswear.

One of the students wearing a scout uniform was seen hitting and kicking a student wearing a sports shirt several times.

Meanwhile, other students did not rush to break up or prevent the incident.

Monday (11/10/2025), the Blora Police summoned all students involved in the bullying.

There were approximately 33 students in total. Parents and teachers were also present at the gathering.

It is known that the location of the bullying was at SMPN 1 Blora.

Ainur Rofiq, as the principal, confirmed that an incident of bullying occurred in the school bathroom during break time on Friday (11/7/2025).

The victim is known to be a grade VIII student.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator was a junior, from grade 7. The incident is also suspected to have involved grade 9 students.

"The victim was in class VIII, the perpetrator was in class VII, the one who incited (ordered) class IX," said Rofiq in a press statement, Monday (11/10/2025).

According to him, the bullying occurred due to a misunderstanding between the students involved. "There was just one of our classmates who provoked and inflamed the situation. That's it. So, the misunderstanding between the perpetrator and the victim has been resolved," he said.

Furthermore, Ainur Rofiq said, on Saturday (8/11/2025), the school had taken steps to gather all the students involved.

"I brought together the parents of both the victim and the perpetrator," he explained.

His party also coordinated with the Education Office, the Social Services Office for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, and the police regarding follow-up handling of the incident.

After the action became a hot topic of conversation, Ainur Rofiq, the principal, apologized.

"As the principal of SMP Negeri 1 Blora, I once again apologize for this incident," he added. (Endah/ IST )
