INFOKU, BLORA -Teachers in charge of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program at beneficiary schools will receive an incentive of IDR 100,000 per day.
The incentive is provided every 10 days through the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) of each school.
This is in accordance with the provisions in Circular Letter (SE) Number 5 of 2025 concerning the Provision of Incentives for Teachers in Charge of the MBG Program.
The Head of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Task Force for Blora Regency, Sri Setyorini, explained that each beneficiary school will assign around two teachers to be in charge of the program.
"Teachers in charge of the MBG will receive an incentive of Rp 100,000, as a letter from the National Civil Service Agency (BGN) has been issued. There will be two teachers per school, and the appointed teachers must be non-civil servants," explained Sri Setyorini, who is also the Deputy Regent of Blora.
According to him, the teachers in charge are prioritized to come from supporting staff or honorary staff.
They have the task of ensuring that the food that arrives is fit for consumption before being distributed to students.
"The food arrives, and the teacher checks it to see if it's fit for consumption. If it's fit, it can be served immediately to the students. If it's not, the teacher in charge has the right to return the food to the kitchen," Sri explained.
This incentive is given as a form of government appreciation for the strategic role of teachers in making the MBG program a success.

The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) emphasized that the incentive is not only financial compensation, but also a form of appreciation for teachers' dedication.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of BGN, Nanik S. Deyang, stated that teachers play an important role, not only as companions to students, but also as drivers to instill awareness about healthy eating patterns and clean living behavior in schools.
"As a form of appreciation for the additional duties and responsibilities, the teachers responsible for the MBG Program at the school were given incentives," Nanik said in Jakarta, to the press.
In a press statement, he explained that each school receiving MBG benefits is required to appoint 1 to 3 teachers as persons in charge (PIC) of food distribution.
Appointments are made by the principal with priority given to assistant and honorary teachers, and a daily rotation system is used to ensure that the workload is evenly distributed.
Incentive Disbursement Mechanism As a form of support, each PIC teacher will receive an incentive of IDR 100,000 per day of assignment.
These funds come from the operational costs of the relevant school's SPPG and are disbursed every 10 days.
The implementation mechanism and accountability of funds must comply with applicable regulations.
