INFOKU, BLORA - The polemic over the cooperation agreement between the Nutrition Provider Education Unit (SPPG) and the school has finally reached the desk of the Blora DPRD.
Commission D of the Blora Regency DPRD held a Hearing (RDP) with the Education Office and the Blora SPPG Regional Coordinator in the DPRD meeting room, Thursday (18/9/2025).
The Chairman of Commission D of the Blora DPRD, Subroto, emphasized that the Education Office should immediately withdraw all agreements deemed detrimental to schools.
According to him, some of the contents of the letter in the agreement, especially points 5 and 7, are unfair and actually burden the school.
"If there's any loss, damage, or poisoning, the school could be the scapegoat. Yet, the food provider is the primary stakeholder," Subroto stressed.
He believes that the position of schools in the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program should only be as beneficiaries and technical implementers, not as bearers of full responsibility.
In addition, Subroto also highlighted regulations regarding information confidentiality and problem handling, which he considered had the potential to close off space for public transparency.

"If there are problems such as distribution delays or poisoning, they must be revealed openly so they can be evaluated, not covered up," he said.
Commission D emphasized that the agreement must be re-evaluated so that responsibilities are shared proportionally.
"Schools shouldn't be disadvantaged. If the Education Office doesn't dare to revoke the agreement, it's better to simply refuse the food. This will prevent the SPPG from getting too big-headed," Subroto stressed.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Blora Education Office, Nuril Huda, admitted that his party was not aware of the existence of the agreement.
"I didn't know there was such an agreement, after this we will coordinate with our friends," replied Nuril Huda.
On the other hand, the Regional Coordinator of SPPG Blora, Artika, emphasized that his party would not withdraw the agreement that had been made because of direct instructions from the central National Nutrition Agency (BGN).
"The format and technical guidelines for the agreement were created centrally. However, there's now a new revision to the agreement, and some schools have already accepted it," explained Artika.

However, he said the old agreement would be replaced with the latest version according to central government directives.
This controversy highlights the need for a serious evaluation to ensure the MBG program is running as intended and without burdening schools, which should only be the beneficiaries. (Endah)
