Farmers Complain About Having to Go to Blora City to Get Subsidized Fuel Barcodes

INFOKU, BLORA  -The purchase of  subsidized fuel  for  agricultural machinery by creating barcodes has become a complaint among farmers

The reason is that long distances are an obstacle for farmers, which previously could be done at  gas stations .

For this reason, farmers proposed that administration could be carried out at the sub-district level.

"Just buying diesel fuel for agricultural machinery is so complicated. Previously, you could get the barcodes at gas stations, but now you have to go far away," complained Mohammad Nur Rokhim, a farmer from Randublatung District.

He assessed that the process of creating  barcodes  for purchasing subsidized fuel for agricultural machinery needs was considered too far-fetched.

The reason is that the administration must go to the  Technical Implementation Unit Office of the Agricultural Extension Service ( UPTD BPP) of the Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service (DP4) of  Blora Regency .

The distance is too far and it takes quite a long time to travel.

He hopes that the barcode processing can be done at the sub-district Agricultural Extension Center (BPP).

So, farmers from remote areas can have their journey made easier and not take a long time.

"If possible, take care of it at the sub-district level or at the PPL (agricultural extension worker) office," he added.

Responding to this, the Head of DP4 Blora, Ngaliman, said that his party would discuss the proposal with the facilities and infrastructure sector.

Especially looking for solutions for creating barcodes for providing subsidized fuel.

"The infrastructure sector knows the regulations. We'll discuss it with the head of the division," said Ngaliman.
