INFOKU, Cepu, BLORA -Dozens of residents of Kandangdoro RW 10 BalunCepuDistrict , held ademonstration in front of the Balun Village Office and the Cepu District Office, Tuesday (12/8).
It is known that the action was initiated due to residents' disappointment with the local village head's policy of rejecting the Statement of Physical Control of Land Areas ( Sporadik ) for land that had been managed by local residents for decades.
Legal Advisor (PH) for Kandangdoro RW 10 residents, Balun Subdistrict, Darda Syahrizal, said that the Balun Subdistrict Head's reason, which only referred to PT KAI's unilateral claim and concerns about the legal impact of signing the statement, was unacceptable to the local community.

"PT KAI has no proof of legal ownership of the land we occupy. And, legally, the signing of the Sporadik by the Village Head does not result in any criminal or civil consequences, as it is a regular form of administrative service," he explained.
"We believe that Lurah Balun's actions constitute a violation of his public service obligations and reflect clear maladministration. The Lurah cannot and does not have the authority to act as the National Land Agency (BPN), let alone make decisions that harm residents without a valid basis," he stressed.
Based on monitoring, residents approached the sub-district office and were met by the Cepu Sub-district Head.
"We also express our disappointment to the Head of Cepu District, Ms. Endah Ekawati, and to the Regent of Blora , Mr. Arief Rohman. To date, we have not seen any concrete and decisive steps from either of them to resolve this issue fairly and in the interests of the people," he explained.
Cepu Sub-district Head Endah Ekawati said that her party had met with the residents who took action.
