A sub-district coordinator will be formed soon, after SPPG kitchens in Blora competed for MBG recipients.

INFOKU, BLORA –It seems that the increase in  the kitchens  of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit ( SPPG ) has been accompanied by a scramble for recipients of  the Free Nutritious Meals  (MBG) program.

Thus, the National Nutrition Agency ( BGN ) will also form a Sub-district Coordinator ( Korcam ) in  Blora Regency .

Regional Coordinator ( Korwil ) of the Blora Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG), Artika Diannita, explained that the formation of the Korcam was a policy of BGN.

This is to regulate the number of beneficiaries from each kitchen that will distribute the food. The hope is that each kitchen will receive an equal portion.

"This is to prevent competition between kitchens for beneficiaries," he said.

Artika revealed that currently many kitchens are competing to receive MBG benefits.

The Korcam that will be formed will be tasked with coordinating with the sub-district, kitchen head, military district command, and community health center, including the SPPG coordinator.

"The sub-district coordinator will be responsible for coordinating," he stressed.

When asked about the implementation and technical instructions for distributing MBG benefits to each kitchen, Artika said that the regulations already state the distribution area for each kitchen.

"Every kitchen is within a six kilometer radius," he said.

However, the BGN needs to adjust to field conditions, because the kitchens are located in remote areas and far from urban areas, some schools are more than six kilometers away.

"For example, in Todanan, it  's  far away. So, it needs to be adjusted to field conditions," he explained.

Artika revealed that currently there are 45 decrees regarding Indonesian Development Driving Graduates (SPPI) issued by BGN for Blora Regency.

"45 SPPIs will be distributed to each MBG kitchen in Blora. We're currently awaiting administrative approval before they can operate," he concluded.  (Endah/ IST )
