Wow... Only 22% of Blora Residents Have Taken Advantage of the Free Health Checks

INFOKU, BLORA –Only 210 thousand Blora residents have taken advantage of the Free Health Check (CKG) program. 

The Blora Health Service (Dinkes) is targeting 925,434 residents to be able to use this service.

Head of  the Blora Health Office,  Edi Widayat, told the press that  the Blora Regency Government  had designated 925,434 residents as target beneficiaries of the CKG program.

Thus, implementation of the CKG program in Blora reached 22.7 percent.

"With 210,212 residents served by the CKG program, Blora Regency is ranked 6th in Central Java," he explained.

The CKG achievement figures were obtained from a total of 211,983 residents registered at 26 community health centers.

"Then, as many as 207,361 or 97.81 percent, attended according to the predetermined schedule," he explained.

According to reports received by the Health Office, the program was widely utilized by Blora residents aged 18 to 59 years.

"Residents aged 18 to 59 reached 167,231. This was followed by seniors aged 60 and over, at 31,726," he said.

"Then, for children, there were 11,255, with 9,705 in the 1 to 6 year age category, and 1,550 babies aged 1 to 2 days," he added.

The CKG program is completely handed over to the community health center for each work area.

So each health center has a different target burden.

"The national target is 80 percent of residents in the working area of each community health center.

"For example, if there are two community health centers in one sub-district, they are divided into two, according to the work area," explained Edi.

"To meet the nationally set targets, we urge residents to take advantage of the CKG program at their nearest community health center," he added.

He emphasized that the health office only acts as a coordination center for community health centers.

Furthermore, providing consumable materials and other infrastructure for the CKG program.
