These are the 4 Products Blora Exported in the First Quarter, Reaching US$795,809

INFOKU, BLORA -Head of the Trade Division of the Blora Regency Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (Dindagkop UKM) Service, Siti Mas'amah in Blora, explained to the press that the export value of Blora Regency, during the first quarter of 2025 reached 795,809 US dollars. 

This is supported by three main commodities, starting from teak wood furniture, coconut shell charcoal briquettes, and processed moringa leaves.

"The export value during the first quarter, calculated in rupiah, was Rp13.06 billion, assuming an exchange rate of Rp16,413.81 per US dollar. Meanwhile, the second quarter figures are still being calculated," said Siti Mas'amah, representing the Head of the Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs Office, Kiswoyo, in Blora on Wednesday (July 9, 2025).

This achievement, said Siti Mas'amah, was supported by three main commodities which are the mainstay of exports from Blora, namely teak wood furniture, coconut shell charcoal briquettes, and processed moringa leaves .

"Processed moringa leaf products are currently a new favorite in the export market because they are used in various sectors, from health to beauty. Moringa products are gaining popularity, especially in the Malaysian market. They are widely used in herbal products, beauty products, and health supplements," he explained.

Meanwhile, coconut shell charcoal briquettes are also in high demand overseas. They are used for various purposes, including heating, barbecues, and even as a cigarette lighter.

"Briquette export markets include Lebanon, Europe, Dubai, Canada, the United States, and Asian countries such as India," Mas'amah explained.

Meanwhile, teak wood furniture products from Blora have succeeded in penetrating international markets such as Germany, the United States, France, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Italy, and a number of Middle Eastern countries.

"Blora's MSME products have now entered markets in Asia, Europe, America, and parts of the Middle East. This is a positive sign for regional export growth," he concluded. (Setyorini)
