INFOKU, BLORA -The addition ofthe runwayat Ngloram Airport will apparently be implemented.
This needs to be done because it has the potential to increase the large fleet.
Data obtained on the proposed extension of the Ngloram Airport runway by 2,500 meters.
Currently, it is being studied by the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency ( Bappenas ). The local government will prepare a spatial plan of 110 hectares.
Head of the Economic and Natural Resources Section (Kabag) of the Blora Regional Secretariat, Puji Ariyanto, said that his party had conveyed the potential of Ngloram Airport to Bappenas in terms of Umrah pilgrimage departures .
We proposed extending the runway to 1,400 or even 2,500 meters, that would still be sufficient.
"So that Ngloram Airport can accommodate Boeing 737 type aircraft ," he explained.
He added that in terms of spatial planning, the entire airport area has been prepared.
The total area of the airport that can be prepared is 110 hectares.

"The area has been discussed in the RTRW preparation. Near the airport, there will be land owned by the community," he said.
He also said that if the proposal is approved, then there will be the release of land belonging to the community.
The final decision is awaiting a study from Bappenas.
"There is also no river near the airport and there is only cut and fill land. For example, if the embankment is too high, it can be cut," he said.
Puji said that the results of the study from Bappenas would be available as soon as possible.
Regarding the distribution of oil and gas revenue sharing funds (DBH) and the construction of the Ngloram Airport runway .
"Hopefully it will be finished soon," he said.

It is known that the runway length needed for Boeing aircraft to take off at the airport needs to be 2,000 meters long and 45 meters wide. Meanwhile, the runway at Ngloram Airport is currently 1,500 meters long and 30 meters wide. (Endah/ IST )
