INFOKU, BLORA – For the time being, around 22 state elementary schools ( SDN ) in Blora have not met the quota for new students this year.
In fact, two of the 22 elementary schools did not get any new students at all.
Currently, the Blora Education Office (Disdik) is still collecting data and clarifying, it is possible that the data could change.
Head of Elementary Education Development Division of Blora Education Office, Slamet Dwi Cahyono, told the press that after the new student admission system (SPMB) was completed, 22 SDN were temporarily found to have not met the quota.
However, this number is still temporary.
"Meanwhile, it was found in the application that there were 22 schools, some of which had been confirmed, but it turned out that the operator had not yet verified it," he said.
He said, to ensure the data that has been summarized in the SPMB, his party will conduct clarification with the supervisors of educational units.
"Currently it is still being reconfirmed by the educational unit supervisor, so it is not final," he said.
It is known that one study group (Rombel) has a maximum of 28 students. Among the 22 elementary schools, there are two elementary schools that did not receive new students or zero students in this year's SPMB.
Namely, at SDN 1 Patalan, Blora City District and SDN Sumengko, Randublatung District.
"After clarification, only two schools still have zero (new students). SDN Patalan and SDN Sumengko," he said.
Asked about the reason why schools did not meet the quota for this year's SPMB, he said it was due to the lack of applicants.
"The results of the clarification show that there are no registrants yet," he said.
Secretary of the Blora Education Office, Nuril Huda, added that the SPMB for elementary schools had been closed by the system as of Tuesday (10/6) .
Data on which schools are unable to meet the quota is still being collected.
"For schools that lack new registrants, they are monitored and evaluated by fellow supervisors," he said . (Endah/ IST )
