INFOKU, BLORA –This year, Blora is certain not to receive special allocation funds (DAK) for school construction.
However, the Sate City is now getting a budget for revitalizing school construction from the center. With an estimated total budget of Rp 10 billion.
Head of Facilities and Infrastructure (Sarpras) of the Blora Education Office, Sandi Tresna Hadi, said that in previous years, Blora and other districts/cities throughout Indonesia still relied on DAK to build damaged schools.
However, this year DAK was taken over by the central government.
"All districts/cities are not getting it now. It is managed by the Ministry itself," he said.
Starting this year, there will no longer be DAK for school development disbursed to the regions.
As a replacement, there is a development revitalization budget from the central government to the regions.
"We received revitalization assistance from the center. Now it is in the implementation process. For the exact number, it is not yet. Still in the process of preparing the planning document," he added.
According to him, the revitalization of school development could be a breath of fresh air.
Because it is a substitute for DAK. Although the amount is smaller.
"For the previous DAK, we could get IDR 30 billion. However, for this revitalization, we estimate we can get IDR 10 billion," he added.
Which schools will receive it has been determined by the center. Including what parts will be built.
"So later make a RAB, then review it . So the exact number is not yet known," he added.
The schools that received revitalization were 9 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 3 kindergartens.
"The target is to start work in early July. We are currently compiling the RAB," he explained.

So that the preparation of the RAB is handed over to the school, by forming a committee, accompanied by a technical planning and supervision team.
"The center has also determined what will be built and rehabilitated," he said.
