INFOKU, BLORA - Currently, the establishment of the Immigration Office in Blora is being strengthened and it is planned to be made into a Class I Immigration Checkpoint (TPI).
Accelerating the construction process, the land grant from the District Government is estimated to be completed this month. The location of the building is planned to be placed near the Polri Flats in Mlangsen.
Minister of Immigration and Corrections (Impas) Agus Andrianto told the press that the Immigration Office to be built in Blora will be a Class I TPI.
It is expected to be a gateway for investment in Blora and its surroundings.
"So later, when there are foreign workers (TKA) or foreign investors entering Blora or the surrounding areas, they just need to report to the Blora Immigration Office," he said.
Responding to this, Regent Arief Rohman appreciated the Ministry of Immipas' plan to build the Class I TPI Immigration Office.
According to Arief, the plan is right, later from Rembang, Bojonegoro, Tuban, Ngawi and Grobogan it can be pulled to Blora.
"Because there are quite a lot of foreigners investing in these areas," he said.
He explained the progress of the land grant for the establishment of an Immigration office in Blora.
The party is targeting completion by the end of June, so that the building construction process can be accelerated.
"Our target is that the grant can be handed over by the end of this month to speed up the process," he said.
The plan is that the donated land that will be occupied by the Blora Immigration Office will be located in front of the Sido Makmur Market next to the Police Flats.
"We hope the process will be completed in June. If this process is completed, the building can be built immediately," he said.
The public response to the immigration office development plan has been very positive, even from the surrounding districts. (Endah/ IST )
