Mystery of the Official Residence of the Deputy Regent of Blora

INFOKU, BLORA  -  It is not known what year this old building located on Jl Pemuda number 15 A Blora was built.

What is certain is that this building is a historical relic built during the Dutch colonial era.

This building itself has always been used by the Blora Regents since the independence era, but when the Blora Regent Sumarno was the Regent's official residence in the North Square, this building was used as the Bappeda office, then the BPPT Office and until now as the Official Residence of the Blora Deputy Regent.

And currently, last April, it was occupied as the Official Residence of the Deputy Regent of Blora, which is currently occupied by Sri Setyorini because she is in office.

It cannot be denied that the name of an old building or house holds its own mysteries that are very difficult to explain with common sense.

Moreover, this house was previously used as a residence for the high-ranking officials of Blora in the past, which of course stored various items that the community believed had certain magical powers.

Several spiritual figures in Blora when met by Infoku confirmed that the house of a high-ranking official is certainly filled with various metaphysical knick-knacks to protect the pillars of his house.

"Usually Jin ( other creatures created by GOD ) are there, as guardians of supernatural disturbances," he said, refusing to be named.

The Grandson Often Invites Jin to Play

Several years ago, when   the 3rd Deputy Regent of Blora was held by H Abu Nafi, he said that he had seen strange events in this house several times.

Like several times his wife, namely Mrs. Lis Abu Nafi, fell and slipped in this old house.

“The floor is slippery when it’s wet, boss,” Abu Nafi said in his distinctive accent to everyone he knew.

However, paranormal circles say this incident was the action of a guardian genie who pushed Lis Abu Nafi so that she fell.

Because they accidentally touched on something they ( Jin-ed ) didn't like.

"This incident is one form of the presence of supernatural beings around the house," explained the paranormal.

However, the genies who guard the deputy regent's house do not always bother Abu Nafi and his wife.

Even the grandson, who was only about 3 years old at that time, was often invited to play by the spirits there.

My information at that time was that I had the chance to chat with this 3 year old child, I was really shocked by what this child said.

When asked what his friend who often invited him to play looked like, he answered Big and Black.

“ Mumu (nickname of the genie by Abu Nafi’s grandson-ed) black and big (Big… because he still can’t pronounce the letter R-ed) doesn’t ask his little brother to play anymore,” said this innocent child.

There is a room without a door

Another oddity of the old building in the official residence of the Blora Deputy Regent, which is inhabited by the Abu Nafi family, is that there is one room without a door.

A room measuring approximately 2.5 meters x 3 meters located behind the bathroom is completely enclosed by a wall.

There was no door to enter the room.

Several sources that INFOKU managed to meet at that time, namely construction workers who had repaired the roof tiles of the house, said that when they saw the room or bedroom there was a hole in the middle.

"It's like a well hole in the middle of the room, I don't know how deep it is, sir," said the worker.

Several paranormal people who were met when asked for their comments said that the room was previously used as a meditation place for the Blora Regents in the past.

"As a meeting place for the Blora regent in the past with his guardians (Jin) from two different realms," explained the paranormal.

Indeed, logically speaking, the paranormal's statement is beyond common sense, but that is the reality that occurs in Javanese society.

When asked what would happen if the room was dismantled in the sense of having a door made, the paranormal replied that it was not necessary.

"I am sure the occupants of the house ( at that time   the deputy regent was Abu Nafi-ed ) would not do that, why should they dismantle it, it is not disturbing, why should they look for trouble," concluded the paranormal. (Roes)
