INFOKU, BLORA –Following public complaints through the Blora Police complaint channel regarding alleged cockfighting gambling in the Tempelan area, Blora District, the police immediately took swift action.
Blora Police Chief, AKP Rustam together with Acting Head of Intelligence Unit of Blora Police, Unit Head, and Bhabinkamtibmas of Tempelan Village conducted patrols and provided public security and order (kamtibmas) appeals.
This step was taken to ensure that the situation in the area remains conducive and safe for all residents.
In the process of handling the complaint, the police worked together with the Head of RT 05/01, Tempelan Village, Surat, to summon Joko, whose house was suspected of being the location of a cockfighting arena.
This summons aims to clarify the disturbing reports from residents.

Blora Police emphasized that every public complaint will be followed up seriously in order to maintain harmony and order in the local environment.
Joko, in his statement at the Blora Police, denied allegations that the arena in his house was used for cockfighting gambling.
He explained that the activity was only limited to "abar" or trying out his own pet chickens, not a gambling event.
Joko also said that the chickens used were his personal livestock, not for commercial purposes or other illegal activities.
Blora Police Chief, AKP Rustam, emphasized that even though no indication of gambling was found, residents' complaints remain a priority for follow-up.

"We have to make sure the situation in Tempelan remains conducive. Every report from the public is our responsibility to be resolved properly," he said.
He also appreciated the cooperation of residents in maintaining environmental security.
The result of this mediation resulted in an important agreement, namely that Joko promised not to repeat the activity of "abar" chickens at his house.
In addition, the cockfighting arena in the form of a cockfighting kombong was handed over to officers to be destroyed.
Joko also made a written statement as a form of commitment to comply with the agreement, while also maintaining the peace of Tempelan residents in the future. (Endah/POL)
