INFOKU, BLORA -Blora Police Chief, AKBP Wawan Andi Susanto, said that market operations will be carried out periodically to monitor basic food prices and prevent monopolistic practices or hoarding of basic food.
"We will check periodically not only in this market, but each Polsek will also carry out it in their respective areas," explained the Blora Police Chief while carrying out a traditional market operation at the Sido Makmur Market with the Blora Regency Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs Office, on Friday (28/2/2025).
Blora Police Chief AKBP Wawan emphasized that by implementing this market operation, it is hoped that the price of basic necessities can remain stable and the public can obtain basic necessities at affordable prices ahead of Ramadan 1446 Hijriah.

"This operation aims to monitor the prices of basic necessities ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan 1446 H," explained the Blora Police Chief.
In this operation, officers checked the prices of basic necessities at several kiosks, including kiosk D of Sri Murtini's shop, kiosk block D of Sanem's shop, kiosk chicken of Siti Fatonah, kiosk meat of Naim, kiosk fish of Diro, kiosk chicken of Lia, and kiosk basic necessities Angkasa Blok A owned by Doni.

Also accompanying the market operation were the Head of DP4 Blora Regency, Ngaliman, Head of Blora Satpol PP Pujo Catur Susanto and the Head of the Trade Division of the Blora Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs Office, Siti Mas'amah. (Endah/KOM)
