INFOKU, BLORA -The scarcity of 3 kilogram LPG (melon gas) that is occurring in various regions is not felt by the people of Sumber Village, Kradenan District, Blora, Central Java.
The reason is, they have used a gas network (jargas) that flows from the PT Pertamina Central Processing Plant (CPP) well, Gundih Block in Sumber Village, Kradenan District.
The existence of a gas network that has been installed in each house certainly makes the community and MSME actors in the village comfortable.
One of the residents of Sumber Village, Suratemi, said that the scarcity of LPG gas had no impact at all on him or other residents who use the gas network.

"The gas shortage that occurred, yes, I was not affected, nor confused," he said Friday, (7/2/2025).
The same thing was also said by Anissa, a UMKM Griya Amanda catering actor who has been using the gas network for the past few years. According to her, using the gas network is easier.
"For its use, it is economical, easy without any obstacles at all, so there is no worry about it running out because if you use a gas network, it keeps flowing, if you use a gas cylinder, sometimes it runs out when cooking, it's a hassle to have to look for it, but with this, it always flows smoothly, so cooking during the day, afternoon and evening, thank God, it runs smoothly," he said.
Anisa hopes that the use of this gas network can also be distributed to all villages in the source and villages in the southern part.
"Hopefully other villages can get it distributed because it is very economical and they don't have to bother looking for LPG gas," he hoped.
Sumber Village Head Aries Susanto said that currently in Sumber Baru village there are only 600-700 families using the gas network.
"Of that number, currently it is in Sumber and Jompong Hamlets, it is hoped that in the future it can also reach the entire Sumber Village area which reaches 13 Hamlets, moreover it can reach the surrounding villages," he explained.
According to him, the use of natural gas is very beneficial for the community considering that it is more economical and easier.
"If the residents of Masak are not afraid of running out, and the price is also cheap a month, they sometimes only have to spend 40 thousand," he said.
With this great benefit, the party hopes that the existing network can be expanded so that the use of this gas network can be evenly distributed throughout society.
