PKG Program for Residents Who Have Birthdays Implemented

INFOKU, BLORA -The Blora Regency Government has started implementing a free health check-up program (PKG) for residents who celebrate their birthdays. 

Deputy Regent (Wabup) of Blora Tri Yuli Setyowati launched PKG at Jepon Health Center, Monday (10/2/2025).

After the launch, a number of residents celebrating their birthdays immediately received free health check-up services.

"I invite you to make the most of this opportunity. This PKG is a central government program and the Blora district government (Pemkab) is ready to implement it," said Tri Yuli Setyowati.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Blora Regional Health Service (Diskenda), Edi Widayat, said that in addition to socializing this national program, his party had also prepared facilities and infrastructure, including personnel assigned to the PKG.

It is emphasized that this program is free. Please for residents who have a birthday to check their health at the first level health facility (FKTP) or health center.

It doesn't have to coincide with a birthday, they give a tolerance of one week before and after the birthday is also allowed.

The PKG targets include all age groups for people who have birthdays, starting from newborns (2 days old), toddlers and preschoolers (1-6 years old), adults (18-59 years old), to the elderly (starting at 60 years old).

The implementation of PKG on birthdays for newborns is carried out at health service facilities that provide delivery services, both primary health care facilities (FKTP) and advanced health care facilities (FKTL).

Meanwhile, for birthday PKG for other age groups, it is carried out by FKTP in collaboration with BPJS Kesehatan.

The health center can delegate birthday PKG to assistant health centers or health service units in other villages or sub-districts according to the primary health service integration (ILP) flow.

Just show your ID card as proof of your birthday, and the officer will serve you.

The health checks provided include for adults (aged 18-59 years) and the elderly, including examinations of hearing, vision, teeth and mouth, obesity, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, stroke risk factors, heart risk factors, chronic kidney disease, lungs, breast cancer, cervical cancer, liver, osteoporosis, mental health and fitness.

For toddlers and school children, this includes checks on growth, teeth, eyes, thalassemia, ears, tuberculosis, and diabetes mellitus.

`While free health checks for newborns (0-2 days) include congenital hypothyroidism, G6PD deficiency, growth, bile duct disorders and critical congenital heart disease. (Setyorini)
