INFOKU, BLORA –In general, the implementation of the first debate for the Candidates for Regent ( Cabup ) and Candidates for Deputy Regent ( Cawabup ) of Blora Regency 2024 did not go smoothly, Monday (4/11).
In fact, there are some parts that have to be skipped.
Based on journalists' monitoring during the debate, since the start which was planned to start at 13.00 WIB, it was delayed by about half an hour.
Then, the moderator in guiding the debate also made a mistake regarding the sequence of segments, so there was miscommunication .

Blora KPU Chairperson Widi Nurintan explained that technically the debate mechanism had been finalized.
However, in the implementation there was miscommunication.
"Mechanically, the debate was not right. Earlier, both candidates should not have taken the question. Only one," he explained.
This results in, consuming time duration.
Also included in the course of the debate process was a lack of synchronicity between the determined agenda and the course of the debate.

"To maintain balance, we keep two issues. However, it does not reduce the substance determined by the KPU," he added.
According to him, there were several reasons why the debate did not run smoothly, such as negligence, namely miscommunication between the EO and the moderator.
Then, during the debate, things were less conducive from the supporters.
"So, there are some segments that should not be the time for supporters to give appreciation. Instead, supporters cheer," he explained.

Taking lessons from this first debate, his party will conduct an evaluation ahead of the second debate, which will be held on November 17, with a theme that will still be discussed. (Endah / IST )
