Chairman of the Laskar Cepu Bangkit NGO, Suhartono, said that the collapse of the terminal ceiling roof occurred on Tuesday (5/11) at around 19.30 WIB.
It is suspected that the ceiling roof collapsed due to being hit by rainwater.
"At that time, there was heavy rain accompanied by strong winds. Rainwater from outside hit one part of the ceiling so that it collapsed," he said.
According to him, there is a problem with the construction design.
So, the building is not able to withstand heavy rain accompanied by wind.
The party urged the project developer to immediately repair the damage .
The terminal, which was built on a land area of 15,748 square meters, cost Rp. 32 billion.

Separately, the Head of the Cepu Madun Type A Terminal confirmed that many of the terminal's ceiling roofs had collapsed.
Building repairs are still the responsibility of the partner and are currently under repair.
"Still under repair, it will probably take a long time to finish because it's totally damaged. Replace all the materials from yesterday, completely dismantle it," he said Sunday (10/11).
Madun said that workers had been deployed by partners to carry out repairs following the incident.
The plan is that the terminal ceiling roof will be tilted. Because, if adjusted to the image, the slope is considered lacking.

"This time it will be tilted, yesterday according to the picture it was not tilted enough, finally it was made more tilted, so that it runs smoothly, if according to the structure it is indeed flat, if it is flattened all like the back of the ticket later it will be raised again, and tilted," he explained.
