Blora Pilkada Debate Will Bring Panelists from Outside Blora

INFOKU, BLORA –Finally, the first debate for the 2024 regional head elections ( Pilkada ) will be held by the Blora Regency General Election Commission ( KPUK ) on Monday (4/11). 

The contest of ideas between the candidate pairs for  regent and  deputy  regent  will use  panelists  from outside the city.

The reason is, it is more objective and without tendencies.

Blora KPUK Chairperson   Widi Nurintan explained that the first debate was on November 4. Presenting panelists from outside Blora district.

"The panelists are scholars. They are from among lecturers, writers, and observers. All from outside Blora," he told the press.

He explained that the panelists from outside the city had several considerations, including being more objective and having no political tendencies towards one party.

Then the panelists' questions were not directed and cornered one of the candidates.

The debate is planned to take place during the day, precisely at 13.00, unlike other regions which have chosen to hold it at night.

"Consider the security and security of  the Police . Then the two cities do not have adequate places, facilities or buildings," he said.

Meanwhile, the theme will raise quality economics to increase the prosperity of the Blora community , covering issues of economy, health, natural resources, and village development.

"Technically, the debate will be one package. All candidates for regent and deputy regent have the right to speak," he said.

To be clearer, KPUK Blora will hold a meeting with representatives of each candidate pair or through LO to explain the technical details of the debate.

To accommodate the supporters, there is potential for joint screenings at several points.

"For the first debate, that's about it. But there are plans for two debates. Another one on the 17th. But it's still in the plan. It depends on the situation later,'' he added. (Endah / IST )
