The Blora Trade , Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Service ( Dindagkop UKM ) only intervenes for potential inflation .
Meanwhile, there has been no intervention for deflation in the regions.
The impact was felt by one of the traders at Plaza Cepu Market, Bastian, who admitted that recently the number of buyers of his merchandise had tended to decrease.
He did not know the exact cause.
"Buyers are usually crowded, recently it has decreased. Don't know what the cause is," he said.
Yoni, also a trader at the market, admitted to experiencing the same thing.
However, the decline in buyers is not significant. The prices of the basic goods sold tend to be stable and stocks are still easy to find.
Such as rice, cooking oil, and other kitchen ingredients.
"There has been a decrease in buyers, but it is small," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of Trade Division ( Kabid ) of Dindagkop UKM Blora Siti Mas'amah told the press that her party monitors the regional market every day. The result is that purchasing power is sluggish.
Due to the impact of deflation that occurred throughout Indonesia, it occurred from May to October.
"Yes, people's purchasing power is decreasing, it happens all over Indonesia. If monitoring is done every day, because we have to report to the SP2KP system. However, only in the Sidomakmur People's Market," he said.
Mas'amah explained that deflation occurred in all regions, including Blora, which was also affected.
However, his party does not yet have a program for this intervention.
The district government only intervenes in potential inflation in the region.
"There has been no (deflation intervention). If the effort to suppress inflation is one of them with market operations," he explained.
Unfortunately, the deflation figures in Blora are not yet known.
Because, according to the Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ), the Blora region is not included in the calculation of the Consumer Price Index ( CPI ).
