INFOKU, BLORA - Head of the Blora Regency Social and P3A Service, Luluk Kusuma Agung Ariadi, said that as many as 3,735 tobacco farmers in Blora Regency are currently waiting for the verification and validation (verval) process to become recipients of Tobacco Excise Revenue Sharing Funds (DBHCHT).
This verification process is carried out to ensure that aid funds are on target and received by farmers who truly meet the requirements.
This verification was carried out in coordination between the Social Service, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection (Dinsos P3A) and the Agriculture, Plantation, Livestock, and Fisheries Service of Blora Regency.
Luluk Kusuma Agung Ariadi, explained that the main purpose of this verification is to ensure that all tobacco farmers who will receive DBHCHT are truly in accordance with the provisions.

"We are trying to ensure that this assistance can be received by those who are entitled. With the verification, we ensure that there is no incorrect data, so that the funds provided can be of maximum benefit to our tobacco farmers," explained Luluk, Wednesday (10/30/2024).
He said that the verification process involved verifying land ownership data and the type of tobacco planted by farmers.
In addition, this data will also be cross-checked with data held by the Department of Agriculture, Plantations, Livestock, and Fisheries to obtain more accurate results.

"We have to ensure land data, land area, and the type of tobacco planted. We don't want any duplicate data or discrepancies that could potentially hinder the distribution of these funds," Luluk added. (Setyorini)
