On September 25, the incumbent Blora regent candidate Arief Rohman moved to the An Nur Seren Islamic Boarding School

INFOKU, BLORA – Blora Regent Arief Rohman  has submitted a  leave period for the 2024 Blora  Regional Head Election ( Pilkada ).

He will soon be taken from  the Blora Regent's Official Residence   to  the An Nur  Seren Islamic Boarding School . 

As the incumbent Prospective Regent ( Bacabup ), Arief took leave as part of complying with the rules that require leave during  the Pilkada campaign period  .

He chose to return to  the An Nur Seren Islamic Boarding School  , the place where he grew up.

This step was taken ahead of  the 2024 Blora Regional Election campaign period   , which will last for the next two months.

" When the campaign period starts, on Wednesday (25/9) I will return to the An Nur Seren Islamic Boarding School with my family. The leave has been submitted to  the  Acting Governor of  Central Java  since August 30," said Arief Rohman.

The Islamic boarding school which is located in Seren Hamlet, Sendangwungu Village, Banjarejo District, Blora Regency is not just a temporary residence for Arief Rohman.

This Islamic boarding school was his childhood home, the place where he grew up and forged the values ​​of life.

"Returning to Seren not only brings back childhood memories. But, it also reminds me of the roots of struggle and values ​​that have shaped my commitment to Blora," he said.

He expressed his gratitude for the support that had been given during his tenure as Regent of Blora and hoped that this year's Pilkada would run smoothly, peacefully, and full of a sense of unity.

"I hope this step becomes a symbol that the campaign is not about elevating oneself, but about returning to the roots, listening more, and doing more. I want Blora to be better, more advanced, and more sustainable," said Arief.

Arief, who is also the Deputy Chair of the  Central Java PKB Regional Management Board (DPW),  emphasized that even though he is on leave, the spirit of Sesarengan Mbangun Blora Maju and Berkelanjutan remains his focus.

He plans to continue approaching the community and listening to their aspirations directly, while strengthening his commitment to building a better Blora.

"During my leave, I will continue to fight for a more advanced and sustainable Blora. I am sure with the full support of the community, we can realize this vision together," said Arief.
