INFOKU, BLORA - The Alumni Association of State Senior High School 1 Blora (ILUSA) across generations, distributed hundreds of clean water tanks to a number of villages in Blora affected by drought.
The Regent of Blora, Arief Rohman, and representatives of Ilusa, symbolically released the departure of the fleet of tanker trucks to distribute clean water, from the Blora Regency Hall, Monday (16/9/2024).
The General Chairperson of Ilusa, Brigadier General Mashudi, said that this activity was carried out in an effort to help the Blora Regency Government in overcoming the drought in Blora.
According to him, Ilusa's friends received information that there was a drought in several areas including Blora Regency, where the people of Blora needed clean water. For that reason, the administrators of the Central Ilusa raised donations to help them.

"Alhamdulillah, it has been collected so that today we symbolically send off the clean water aid tank. Hopefully this can help the people of Blora Regency both in the near and long term. I think later the Regent will think about how the need for clean water in Blora can be met," said Brigadier General Mashudi.
It was emphasized that at least Ilusa will help provide clean water in the form of 200 tanks of clean water for the people in Blora Regency who are affected by drought.
"Our target is 200 water tanks. But I think it will be more, so if later 200 have been distributed and the community still needs it, we will continue to support areas that are lacking. Later, the proposal will be like what the community through our management," said General Chairperson Ilusa Mashudi.

When sending off the clean water tanker fleet, the Regent of Blora said that on behalf of the entire Blora community, he expressed his gratitude for the clean water assistance provided by Ilusa's friends across generations.
"Hopefully this can be useful and of course we want to continue to synergize with other programs in the future. Such as making tanks or reservoirs in villages that need them," he said.
He expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Ilusa and all parties who have cared about the people of Blora who need clean water. He hopes that later movements to help the community can continue to be encouraged.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Blora Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Mulyowati, said that currently there are 196 villages affected by drought.

He said that the water assistance from Ilusa would be very beneficial for the people of Blora who need clean water.
"Alhamdulillah, this assistance is certainly very helpful for the community, even though it has rained, a number of people still really need clean water," said Mulyowati. (Setyorini)
