INFOKU, BLORA – It turns out that the budget of the Blora Regency Education Office ( Disdik ) this year cannot be maximized for school renovations.
This is because half of the education budget is used for teacher salaries and allowances.
Approximately 75 percent of the APBD allocated by the Education Office has been distributed for teacher salaries .
Head of Blora Education Office, Sunaryo, explained that this year's education office budget is IDR 815 billion.
As much as 75 percent of the education budget is allocated to pay salaries, allowances and certification for teachers and civil servant ( PNS ) education department employees .
"There is also the school operational cost ( BOS ) for kindergarten, elementary school and junior high school which is 13 percent of the APBD. The BOS cost is worth Rp 111 billion," he explained.
He added that one percent of the APBD was taken for honorary teacher salaries.
The salary for honorary teachers throughout Blora Regency was initially IDR 17 billion, then changed to IDR 13 billion.

"There is also a routine budget such as paying for electricity, water, telephone in 18 places. Covering the education office, learning activity studios and 16 regional coordinators," he explained.
He explained that the special allocation funds ( DAK ) received in 2024 amounted to IDR 41 billion in 2024.
Meanwhile, for development, we rely on DAK, which is only five percent for physical purposes.

"If detailed, 75 percent for salaries, 13 percent BOS, 1 percent honorary salary, 5 percent physical, and the rest for routine operations. Our general allocation fund ( DAU ) capacity is not enough to finance the rehabilitation of school rooms and school buildings. Currently, it is not capable," he concluded. ( Endah / IST )
