INFOKU, BLORA – In accordance with the DPRD's recommendation, finally the Regent of Blora, Arief Rohman, removed the village head (Kades) of Sendangharjo, WS because he was proven to have committed immoral acts.
WS entered into an unregistered marriage with his own village officials, even though it was reported that WS still had a legal wife at that time.
Based on the decision of the Regent of Blora, WS was dismissed from his position as village head as of July 19 2024
The decision to dismiss was read out at the Sengdangharjo Village Meeting Hall, on Monday (22/7/2024) by the local Village Consultative Body (BPD).

The Regent of Blora, Arief Rohman, confirmed that he had dismissed the village head because of his immoral behavior.
According to him, the removal was in accordance with the applicable mechanism.
"Yes, that is the mechanism that has been implemented by the team, of course the team has decided," he said when met by journalists on Tuesday (23/7/2024).
According to him, WS can still fight back if he does not accept being dismissed from his post as village head.
"We also convey that he has the opportunity if he wants to refute or defend himself through the PTUN route, it is still possible," he explained.
Previously it was reported that the head of Sendangharjo Village, Blora District, Blora Regency, Central Java, with the initials WS, was dismissed from his position because he was proven to have committed an immoral crime.
Chairman of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) of Sendangharjo Village, Yuli Siswo Purnomo, said the dismissal was based on the decision of the Blora regent.
"The decision from the regent to respectfully dismiss the head of Sengdangharjo village in the name of Mr. Wiwik Suhendro as of July 19 2024," said Yuli at the Sendangharjo Village Hall, Monday (22/7/2024).
According to him, the dismissal was because Wiwik did not set a good example to the community regarding his capacity as village head.
While leading the village for about a year and a half, he committed immoral acts with his own village officials. (Endah/ IST )
