DPRD Ready to Facilitate Plantungan Residents Want Legality of Old Oil Well Management

So, Plantungan residents have high hopes that mining will not be labeled illegal.

Plantungan Village Head (Kades) Endang Susana said that as a representative of the residents, he hopes that a solution can be produced.

The hope is that the Blora DPRD can help fight for legality for the prosperity of the residents. How in the future  can management  be in accordance with regulations?

"Whether it will be through BUMDes, KUD, or BUMD," he said.

On Wednesday (19/6), Commission B of the Blora DPRD visited the old Plantungan well. However, it still cannot solve the problem.

The residents' desire to obtain legality for the exploitation of old oil wells in Plantungan will be discussed again at the DPRD table.

Commission B is still trying to ensure that future management follows procedures and achieves legality.

“As we promised during the hearing. We have carried out inspections in Plantungan. "All kinds of local wisdom in Plantungan need to be fought for together," said Head of Commission B of the Blora DPRD, Yuyus Waluyo.

Yuyus explained that exploitation of old wells should not be immediately labeled wrong and illegal.

In efforts to untangle these tangled threads, it is necessary to collaborate with all parties so that management is carried out in accordance with existing regulations.

He also hopes that in the future  the relevant stakeholders  can play a role in making Plantungan prosperous.

"The village government, BUMDes and  other stakeholders  are also looking for solutions together," he said.

Also involves  stakeholders  from the environment. Because, it was found that in Plantungan there was waste from the exploitation process of old wells.

Meanwhile, as a follow-up to the resolution of the problem during an audience at the council building some time ago, his party is still waiting for an invitation from the Plantungan Village Government.

"In order to cover all kinds of issues including analyzing them, then we will continue again at the DPRD," he said.

Regarding the plan to discuss it again at the DPRD table, his party plans to invite oil and gas sector policy makers.

Namely, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, SKK Migas, and Pertamina.

Including the wishes of southern residents who want to obtain the legality of wells in the Kedinding Block, Temetes.

Previously, the Head of the Economic and Natural Resources Section of the Blora Regency Government, Pujiariyanto, revealed that oil management by BUMDes was called illegal by Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) Randugunting and SKK Migas.  ( Endah / IST )
