INFOKU, BLORA - The management of old wells by PT Blora Patra Energi (PT BPE) has not been optimal.
PT BPE Blora Operations Director Prima Segara said that managing all old wells throughout the Blora area requires assistance from the district government, in terms of obtaining permits.
Bearing in mind, all old well fields can be managed by regionally owned enterprises (BUMD), namely PT BPE and Village Unit Cooperatives (KUD), in accordance with the 2008 Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation.
"Ask the district government to seek permits for all fields with old oil wells managed by BPE and KUD," he explained.
Prima said, to make this happen, it is necessary to search for and collect data on old wells that have not yet been included in the BPE.
So, his party needs to be supported with additional capital.
"Additional capital is needed for BPE," said the man who once served as Acting Managing Director of PT BPE.
Head of the Regional Revenue, Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPPKAD) Blora Slamet Pamudji said, before there was a change in the Main Director (Dirut) and Commissioner of PT BPE, there had been a proposal for capital participation.
However, at that time it was rejected, because the proposal submitted did not contain any main points that could be used as a reference for increasing income.

"This year there is no (capital participation for PT BPE) because the contents of the proposal are only operational, they still need to be improved," he explained.
Mumuk said that there was still room for PT BPE to improve its capital investment proposal to increase income.
Of course, it must be better than the proposal previously submitted.
Moreover, this capital participation has been stated in the Regional Regulation.
"The newly elected director can resubmit a capital investment proposal," he answered.
Meanwhile, Blora DPRD Commission B member Abdullah Aminuddin questioned the business concept of PT BPE, miners and investors working on the management of old wells in Semanggi and Ledok.

At that time, his party openly refused to increase capital before PT BPE's business concept was clearly accountable .
"I frankly rejected additional capital participation for PT BPE because the business concept was not clear," he explained.
According to him, the risks of the well mining business are very large, so careful calculations are needed.
He reiterated that PT BPE's performance must first be clear, what its business existence is like, not only in the field of managing old wells.
But more broadly, it could become a provider of oil and gas operations. ( Endah / IST )
