INFOKU,BLORA -The Blora Regency Government has established a command post for emergency response to floods, landslides and typhoons in 2024. Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Blora Mulyowati said that the post will operate from March 1 2024 to April 30 2024.
The post is located at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Jalan Raya Blora-Cepu Km.5, Seso Village, Jepon District.
"After many disasters, especially for Central Java, and including Blora Regency, we established an emergency response command post for floods, landslides and typhoons at BPBD Blora," explained Mulyowati while monitoring the post at BPBD Blora, Monday (15/4/2024) .
He added that participants or Command Post officers consisted of cross-sectoral groups.
"From the TNI, Polri, Prosecutor's Office, volunteers, BPBD, our TRC Team too, there are Sat Pol PP, Subdistrict, health team and Kominfo. "So we are one unit, if we face a disaster in Blora Regency, we will divide this Command Post into two, namely morning and evening," explained Kalaksa Mulyowati.
He explained, based on information from the BMKG for the 2024 drought/drought disaster which is predicted to be quite long, his party will also issue a Regent's Decree regarding the establishment of an emergency alert status for drought.
