INFOKU, BLORA – During the implementation of the 2024 budget, it is certain that the budget for educational infrastructure development will shrink .
This is due to several things, especially the budget for the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) and 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada).
Even though there has been a decrease in the budget for educational infrastructure development, the Blora Regency Government remains committed to strengthening facilities by trying to build 103 school buildings.
Head of the Facilities and Infrastructure Division (Sarpras) of the Blora Education Service, Sandy Tresna Hadi, said that the development would use budget from various sources. According to him, compared to 2023, there is clearly a drastic decline.
He gave an example, from the 2023 mandatory general allocation fund (DAU) , the Blora Regency Government received IDR 79 billion.
However, in 2024 it will decrease to IDR 31 billion. Then from the 2023 special allocation funds (DAK), the Blora Regency Government received IDR 47 billion.
Meanwhile, in 2024 this will decrease to IDR 37 billion.
"From DAU which was not mandatory last year, we got more than IDR 50 billion. "Now we get IDR 8 billion," he explained to the press yesterday (15/1).
As for the school development from DAU, there will be state schools and private schools.
From the DAU for private schools usually there must be aspirations or main ideas from board members.
"The funds will be allocated for the construction of PAUD, Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle School school buildings. "Senior high schools have entered the province," he added.
It is predicted that 72 schools will be built from DAU. Then, from DAK there will be 31 schools. So, in total it is predicted that there will be 103 schools that will be built during 2024.

“This could still potentially increase. From provincial financial assistance. If you get how much, I don't know yet. "But, he said, they still exist, even though the numbers are not much," he explained.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Commission D of the Blora DPRD, Ahmad Labib Hilmy, said that his party was ready to advocate for which schools needed to have infrastructure built. According to him, it is necessary to use a priority scale.
