INFOKU, Cepu, BLORA - Regional market traders in Cepu continue to hear voices rejecting the increase in levy rates that are too high .
However, their aspirations could not be realized this year.
This is because Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 6 of 2023 concerning Regional Taxes and Levies (Perda 6/2023) must be implemented.
Even though it is burdensome for traders. The Bojonegoro Department of Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Dindagkop UKM) still accommodates these aspirations.
It is estimated that it can be adjusted next year. Traders are still obliged to pay levy rates, which they feel have increased quite drastically this year.
“We actually agree if it goes up. "But, if it increases a lot like now, we will object," said Anis, one of the kiosk traders at the Cepu Main Market when conveying his aspirations to the Blora UKM Dindagkop Dindagkop, last Thursday.
He considers the increase in levies to be a burden on traders.

The increase is considered unreasonable, so it must be adjusted to current market conditions. Also, the market facilities in which it is located are still lacking.
Umar, one of the traders at Mulyorejo Market, Cepu District said the same thing.
That, the levy rates charged to traders are too high. He admitted that last year he paid IDR 98 thousand per month, then it increased to IDR 180 thousand per month. This excitement was felt to be unrealistic.
“(By) calculation, I am heavy. "Now selling in the market to earn IDR 500 thousand per day is difficult," he said.
Head of Market Division (Kabid) Dindagkop UKM Blora Margoyuwono said that all proposals were still being accommodated and would be discussed for evaluation.
However, for the application of levies for traders at market stalls, the new rules as stated in Regional Regulation 6/2023 are still used.
“Because this has been enacted and must be implemented. So, it cannot be changed. "It could be changed possibly next year," he explained.
From the data he has, tariffs are based on type and zone. Type A Market Zone I is charged Rp. 600 per square meter, Type B Market Zone 1 Rp. 550 per square meter. And, Market Type 3 Zone 1 IDR 500 per square meter.
