INFOKU, Cepu, BLORA - Allegations of illegal levies (extortion) under the guise of a sincere request for assistance at SDN Tambakromo Cepu emerged after a number of parents complained about this donation.
The request for assistance is contained in the invitation letter dated December 5 2023, attaching a budget plan for the costs of building a 150 square meter school yard paving area.
The details are Rp. 87 million for paving, Rp. 20 million for masons, and Rp. 6 million for 10 trucks of sand. So, the total budget requirement is IDR 103 million.
Then, the letter also stated the assumption of distribution to the parents of 118 students. So, around IDR 872 thousand per person and paid sincerely.

Yudi, one of the student parents, revealed that apart from being asked for donations , the school also invited student parents to do community service at school. The invitation was subject to a sincere fee. But, the minimum is IDR 50 thousand.
“The information is for buying paving. Many of the parents of the students also responded . "Moreover, we got more than IDR 1 billion in funds, but still asked the parents to do community service to clean the school," he explained.
Separately, Inspector of the Blora Regency Government (Pemkab) Irfan Agustian Iswandaru spoke to the press regarding the alleged practice of illegal levies (extortion) at SDN 2 Tambakromo, Cepu. His party plans to process it in the sense that it will follow up on the case.

Irfan said that monitoring the development of Blora has become a joint responsibility of the government, legislature and the community. They are sure to investigate the report. "Thank you for the information, we will follow up," he said
Member of Commission C DPRD Blora Darwanto said that with the existence of a self-management system for the special allocation funds (DAK) obtained by SDN 2 Tambakromo of around IDR 1.1 billion, there should no longer be a burden on the community or student parents.
“The government hopes that there will be job development. "It doesn't end up burdening the community or parents with additional work," he stressed.
He also wondered about the existence of this self-management system. It is known that the letter explained that a workshop on preventing bullying, sexual violence and intolerance had been held for teachers, parents and students.
"With the self-management system, has it really been implemented by the people by the people for the local people? What is the development of DAK? "Is it there or not?" he said.
Meanwhile, as confirmed separately, the Principal of SDN 2 Tambakromo, Fitri Khoirun Nisa, emphasized that she had asked for confirmation from the committee chairman.
“Please go to the chairman of the committee who handles all activities. So, let's agree on the same thoughts," he explained.
