INFOKU, BLORA – At night the public street lighting ( PJU) in Blora is not optimal.
From the data obtained, 40 percent of district roads and forest routes are still dark, so road users and local communities complain about this.
Lilik Yuliantoro, a resident of Japanrejo , said that many areas on the Blora to Randublatung route still do not have lighting .
The lack of PJU certainly endangers passing motorists. It also has the potential to invite crime.

“ The forest area on the Blora - Randublatung route has lots of sharp turns . There are also minimal danger signs. Obviously dangerous and prone to falling into a ravine. "If the road conditions are optimal and there are no potholes," he said.
He complained that the three to five kilometer district road with the left and right sides of the forest was still dark.
In fact, he said, there are many solar panel PJUs installed. However, it was not maintained and the battery was lost.
Head of the Road Facilities and Infrastructure Division of the Housing, Settlement and Transportation Department (Dinrumkimhub) Blora Peny Astuty said that there are still many road areas that are still dark.
The latest data shows that only 60 percent of district roads are lighted.

"We have coordinated with the head to convey to the council regarding the lack of lighting on district roads. Because, constrained by a limited budget. "So, we cannot add PJU evenly," he explained.
" The high cost of procuring a set of lights is also taken into account for purchasing expenses in the regional budget," he added.
He added that in the future he would continue to increase the procurement of PJUs as an effort to assist the regent in completing road infrastructure. The reason is, when the road is good, it must be supported by adequate PJU .
There are dark areas on the Blora - Randublatung , Kunduran , Todanan and Jepon routes . Next year's budget will seek to increase 10 percent of PJU procurement every year . ( Endah / IST )
