INFOKU, BLORA -In commemoration of the 95th Mother's Day in 2023, a pilgrimage and flower scattering was carried out at the grave of the female fighter from Aceh, Pocut Meurah Intan, at the R. Ng family grave. Donopuro, in Dukuh Tegalsari, Temurejo Village, Blora District, Thursday (21/12/2023).
The pilgrimage was attended by Deputy Regent of Blora Tri Yuli Setyowati, Head of the Blora Regency PKK Mobilization Team Hj. Ainia Sholichah, Chair of the Blora Regency DWP Ratnasari Irawadi and other women's organizations.
The tahlil and flower scattering were carried out solemnly as a form of respect for the inspiring female warriors.
"This morning we are still carrying out a series of activities to commemorate the 95th Mother's Day 2023, which falls on December 22. Happy mother's day. "The Pocut Meurah we are visiting is of course a mother, in which she also plays many roles, a fighter too, a troop leader, diplomatic with the Dutch to defend her region," said Head of the Blora Regency PKK Team, Hj. Ainia Sholichah.
So, the role of Pocut Meurah Intan, his role is extraordinary, which of course we learn, we need to be proud of, and become an inspiration, even though we are not fighting against the invaders.
“But we are at least fighting against ourselves, there is lust within us. "Let's fight, don't give in to lust," he said.
"If it increases, we can fight ourselves," said Hj. Ainia Sholichah, invites mothers to protect their children so that they become a good, pious generation.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Regent of Blora, Tri Yuli Setyowati, expressed that through the momentum of the 95th Mother's Day 2023, she hopes that if there is an opportunity for women to work, they will use it as fully as possible and as far as possible according to their potential.
"Because opportunities don't come twice, don't let there be any words of regret for us women in Blora Regency," she said.

At the event the history of Pocut Meurah Intan was also read. The fighter who was labeled as the most wanted person from the Dutch colonialists was the daughter of a noble family in the Kingdom of Aceh.
