INFOKU, BLORA – Anticipating the threat of pneumonia, Head of the Blora Regency Health Service (Dinkes) Edi Widayat asked for health services at both hospitals and health centers to increase vigilance.
This follows up on Circular Letter Number: PM.03.01/C/4632/2023 submitted by the Directorate General of Disease Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Health regarding Awareness of Mycoplasma Pneumonia in Indonesia.
"The Blora Health Office forwarded the circular to health service units, both hospitals and health centers. "To increase awareness of respiratory diseases, especially pneumonia," explained Kadinkes Blora, Edi Widayat, Saturday (2/12/2023).

He explained that the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia asked all its staff to be prepared to anticipate the threat of pneumonia.
This swift step follows a report by the World Health Organization (WHO) that there has been an increase in cases of undefined pneumonia that have attacked children in the Northern China region. "We urge people to maintain a healthy lifestyle," he said.
Washing your hands regularly with soap and water can help prevent the spread of germs that can cause pneumonia.
A healthy lifestyle such as quitting smoking, regular exercise, not drinking alcohol and a balanced diet can help strengthen the immune system and prevent pneumonia. (Endah)
