INFOKU, BLORA – You can see that when you pass through the forest belonging to Perhutani KPH Randublatung, Blora Regency, it has become a target for irresponsible residents to dump rubbish.
Mounds of rubbish along Jalan Wulung to the Randublatung city forest area appear to be polluting the local environment.
Conditions in the field also show that some of the discarded plastic waste has been burned along with dry tree branches.
Ironically, not far from this location there is already a rubbish dump (TPS) provided by the Blora Environmental Service.
Even so, people still find people who throw rubbish inappropriately.
This shows that the level of public awareness of environmental cleanliness is still minimal.
One of the TPS officers, Sugimin, said that there are still many people who throw rubbish on the side of the road on purpose instead of taking it to the TPS.
"Even though there is already a polling station here, why don't you want to throw it here," he said on Tuesday, November 14 2023.
Sugimin regrets this, because the city forest area, which should be beautiful, looks shabby and dirty due to the actions of residents who throw rubbish carelessly.
"In fact, it looks shabby and dirty. "In fact, every day many officials pass here," he explained.
He said that in a day around 3 quintals of waste enter the TPS before being transported to the final disposal site (TPA).
"Every two days the big trash cans are full, then we contact Blora to have them transported to the landfill," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Cleanliness, Waste Management, Control of Hazardous and Toxic Materials and Hazardous Waste, DLH Blora, Bayu Himawan, told the press that the public should raise awareness not to throw rubbish anywhere because the government has also accommodated TPS.
"Actually, it's not difficult to dispose of it at the TPS, it's only tens of meters away. "We hope that in the future the local community will be more aware of environmental cleanliness," he said.

According to him, the public needs to participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the environment, so that areas that are naturally beautiful and clean are not polluted with rubbish.
“Let's work together to protect this beauty and nature, throw away rubbish in the right place. "So that health will always protect us," he concluded. ( Endah / IST )
