INFOKU, BLORA - In collaboration with the Central Java Provincial Government, PT Djarum built 70 Simple Livable Houses (RSLH) belonging to Blora residents.
So far, 50 houses have been completed and the rest are being built.
Of the 50 houses that have been completed, five of them are all in Cepu, which were symbolically handed over by the Regent of Blora, Arief Rohman, together with the Deputy GM Community Development of PT Djarum, Achmad Budi Harto, at the Cepu District hall, Thursday (16/11/2023). Also present was the Head of Central Java Disperakim, Arief Djatmiko.
The five residents with uninhabitable houses who received RSLH assistance from PT Djarum were Abdul Rokhim (Cabian Village), Khayatin (Bajo Village), M.Nur Ngalim (Cabean Village), Pardi (Bajo Village), Paiman (Bajo Village). Bajo).
Achmad Budi Harto explained that PT Djarum had considered various aspects in constructing the assisted housing.
So the RSLH as a whole was financed and developed until finished by PT Djarum.
"This year we are actually handling 70 houses. This is the 50th house," he explained.
It was stated that the construction of the RSLH fulfilled various basic aspects. Namely healthy, safe and decent. In this way, it is hoped that people can be more productive to improve their standard of living and live clean and healthy lives.
The Regent of Blora appreciated the RSLH assistance from PT Djarum to his residents.
"On behalf of the Blora Regency Government, representing the community, I would like to express our appreciation to PT Djarum. "The hope is that this can help accelerate the handling of extreme poverty in Blora," explained the Regent.
It is said that Blora is one of the districts that is still in the red zone of poverty in Central Java.
"One indicator is that there are still many houses that are uninhabitable," added the Regent, who is familiarly called Mas Arief.
It is said that the Blora Regency Government is ready to synergize with PT Djarum, including in other fields.
"We express our gratitude for PT Djarum's extraordinary support," he added.
Separately, the Head of the Central Java Disperakim, Arief Djatmiko, stated that he was aware that to alleviate the RTLH problem, the government needed support from various parties, one of which was collaboration and support from the corporate sector, in this case also together with PT Djarum.
"We cannot do this alone, but we do it collaboratively," he said.

Meanwhile, one of the recipients of housing assistance, Mrs Abdul Rohman from Cabean Village, Cepu, said that before receiving assistance, her house still had a dirt floor and the roof often leaked during heavy rain.
"Before it was built, the house looked like it was going to collapse, now it's in good condition," he explained
In fact, when he was in the bathroom, he often almost slipped due to the muddy floor.
Now, the house has been built to be stronger and better. Consisting of two rooms, a clean bathroom, living room, all of which has tiled floors.
"I have been living in a house assisted by Djarum since several weeks ago. I was not charged any fees," said Mrs Abdul Rohman. (Setyorini/KOM)
