INFOKU, BLORA – When seen directly, the water in the Grojogan River is very dirty.
So it could be said that there has been a decline in quality which is thought to be due to household waste.
One way to improve it is to pour organic liquid , ecoenzyme, which is claimed to improve the quality of water and the environment around the river .
Head of the Water Resources (SDA) Division of the Blora Surat Public Works and Spatial Planning (DPUPR) Department explained that the ecoenzyme liquid production in his department will be poured into the Grojogan River .
It is planned that 60 liters of organic liquid will be distributed at several points on Friday (24/11).

"Materials come from molluscs, water and organic vegetable waste as well as used materials from fruit peels," he said.
According to him, pouring the ecoenzyme liquid can change the water quality for the better. Also breaks down substances that pollute water.
“Theoretical studies exist, but we have not carried out these tests. "However, it has been practiced in big cities such as on the Ciliwung River," he explained.
He said that this agenda only started three months ago, so the duration is once a month to pour ecoenzyme into the Grojogan River .
In the future, this agenda will be expanded along the Lusi River and other rivers in the region.

The Environmental Management Study Section of the Blora Protected Environmental Service (DLH) revealed that pouring ecoenzymes into polluted water requires laboratory testing.
It is necessary to look at the BOD and COD content. Then, after and before pouring ecoenzym.
