The Acting Officer (Plt) of the Blora P3A Social Service, Luluk Kusuma Agung Ariadi, who was present handed over direct assistance.
He admitted that he had received information from the public that in the area of Japanrejo Village there were elderly residents who were repairing their houses, when suddenly there was no wind, the rain caused their houses to collapse to the ground.
According to him, what the community conveyed to him was certainly not without reason.
Because, due to economic limitations, and this incident has been going on for approximately a week.
So the house could not return to its original state, finally together with BPBD and the Blora City sub-district government, they went directly to the location.
Apart from that, he also revealed that this assistance was aimed at easing the burden on the owners of houses that collapsed so that it was hoped that it could reduce the burden on those affected by the disaster.
"Hopefully this assistance can provide benefits to the owners of collapsed houses. And, in the future we will also coordinate with bazanas. "We have already conveyed it to the village head to make a proposal for a letter of application to the bazanas," he said.
The Head of the Japanrejo Village (Kades), Sugito, explained that the Village Government, which is the captain, will always help its residents who experience disaster.
From one victim whose house collapsed, the aid distributed to Mangsi (66) was in the form of cash.
"Today, we are together with village officials, Bhabinkamtibmas, PKK and UNY Yogyakarta KKN students, at Mbah Mangsi's house, in RT 01/RW 06, whose house collapsed one week ago, because it was being repaired," he said.
"So, we are here from the village government to provide a little assistance to provide relief to Mbah Mangsi. Hopefully the house can be completed and used again soon. Because with Mbah Mangsi's elderly age, we are also concerned, both at the village government and globally, " he said again.
Furthermore, he also said that this incident was unexpected, because before the elderly house was repaired, it had been carefully planned.
