The event was organized by the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT).
Previously, a jury team from the Ministry of Villages PDTT visited Bangsri Village for field verification on November 7. At that time, Bangsri Village was still competing in the top 30.
Head of Division (Kabid) Head of Village Community Empowerment Service, Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD) Blora Sunarno said, from the top 30 it was then filtered again to the top 15.

"In the announcement, Bangsri Village was included in the top 15 in category 1. Namely, consisting of villages classified as very underdeveloped, underdeveloped and developing," he explained.
It is known that of the 15 villages, Bangsri was one of three villages in Central Java that were included.
The other two are Guci Village, Tegal Regency and Melung Village, Banyumas Regency.
