The passing of the 2023 ASN Law immediately became happy news for honorary staff.
This is because the arrangement of honorary staff is one of the points regulated in the 2023 ASN Law.
In fact, it is reported that honorary staff have been appointed as Government Employees with a Work Agreement (PPPK).
However, it turns out that not all honorary staff in Indonesia will be appointed as PPPK.
The State Civil Service Agency (BKN) has officially determined three categories of honorary staff who will not be appointed as PPPK.
So, these three categories of honorary staff have no hope of being appointed as PPPK.
What categories of honorary staff will not be appointed as PPPK?
The following are three categories of honorary staff who have no hope of being appointed as PPPK:
1. Have reached the retirement age limit
This category of honorary staff will officially not be appointed as PPPK. This is because this category of honorary staff has reached the working age limit in the government agency where they work.

2. Inactive for three months or more
Honorary workers in this category have no hope of being appointed as PPPK. This category of honorary staff is considered to have been released from responsibility for the tasks they have been given.
3. Having a disciplinary violation
This category of honorary staff is considered to have a track record of disciplinary violations. This is the reason why honorary staff in this category will not be appointed as PPPK. (Roes / IST )
