Commemorating HSN 2023, Blora Holds Ta'aruf Parade

INFOKU, BLORA   - The 2023 National Santri Day (HSN) commemoration in Blora Regency, Sunday (22/10/2023) morning until noon was lively.  

Thousands of students across generations, from children to teenagers and the elderly, joined in enlivening the 2023 HSN commemoration at Blora Square.

After the rally, it continued with the Santri Carnival. The carnival was launched by Regent Arief Rohman in front of the gate of his official residence together with Forkopimda officials and religious figures.

Even though the weather was hot, it did not dampen the enthusiasm of the thousands of students who took part in the parade.

Thousands of students from all Islamic boarding schools in Blora, displaying various arts with Islamic nuances such as hadroh, sholawatan, drumband, as well as various replicas and Islamic boarding school banners.

There was also a display of a giant red and white flag carried by Banser as the opening of the parade, and a symbol that the students are very loyal to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Regent of Blora, H. Arief Rohman, appreciated the enthusiasm and implementation of a series of activities to enliven the commemoration of Santri Day in 2023. 

"On behalf of the regional government, we would like to express our gratitude for holding this Santri Day commemoration which took place lively, we hope that the Santri will continue to contribute to developing this country, especially in Blora," he explained.

Not only that, the Regent also hopes that the presence of santri will be able to provide a spirit of enthusiasm and also benefits for the community.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Blora Ministry of Religion, M Fatah, explained that this year's commemoration of Santri Day, at least a few days ago, had started with sholawatan, a visit to the graves of NU figures who had died.

Then there was the reading of nariyah prayers, the Santri Day rally and ended with a ta'aruf parade enlivening HSN.

"Alhamdulillah, a number of activities have been carried out before Santri Day and today the peak is, there is a roll call and a procession of students covering a distance of around 3 kilometers from Alun-alun - Jl.Pemuda - Tugu Pancasila - Jl.Ahmad Yani and finishing at GOR Mustika," explained Fatah.

Parade participants came from all Islamic boarding schools, the Diniyah madrasah in Blora, and several other participants who joined in the fun.

"We hope that by commemorating this santri day, we certainly want to increase the role of santri in society, especially in Blora, in order to develop Blora to help develop the Blora district government to make it more prosperous and dignified," he hoped.

Aminah, one of the participants in the grand rally and Taaruf parade, stated that she was happy to be able to take part in the 2023 HSN series at Blora Square. 

“I'm from Ngawen, I've been going with my friends since this morning to the Alun-alun. Thank God it was very busy and lively. Thank you to the Regent and his staff who were willing to watch our parade until the end even though the weather was very hot. "Hopefully it can bring blessings to everyone, amen," said Aminah. (Endah/KOM)
