Rp. 49 billion in Blora's 2024 election budget, this is the allocation


INFOKU. BLORA — The budget for the 2024 district head election has begun to be calculated. The amount reached IDR 49 billion.

The details are IDR 38 billion for KPUK and IDR 11 billion for Bawaslu. The budget will later be shared between the Blora Regency Government and the Central Java Provincial Government.

Blora KPUK chairman Muhammad Khamdun said there were still several notes of improvement from the district government on the budget proposal.

It is known that the budget will begin to be used at the end of 2023. There are several things that need improvement.

"Such as adjusting the standardization of the budget ceiling according to regional government regulations, the amount of honorarium, official travel budget, and several other standards," he said Friday (7/7).

Khamdun continued, his party had proposed improvements. Now, waiting for the grant signing schedule. It is planned that the signing of the grant will be carried out no later than next October.

"We submitted repairs yesterday and are waiting for the schedule that has been determined. Indeed, there are still a number of things that need to be examined further by the regency or local government. The funds are in the nature of grants, so we will adjust them. For elections, the budget is from the APBN," he said .

Blora Slamet Pamudji, head of the Regional Revenue and Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPPKAD), said that his party was examining the proposal from the election organizers to make it efficient.

There still needs to be improvements regarding what is in the budget. Moreover, the Pilkada budget comes from the sharing of the district government and the provincial government.

"According to the direction from the Minister of Home Affairs, we were given instructions to spend 40 percent of the total budget in 2023 so that it won't swell in 2024. Actually, KPUK or Bawaslukab don't really need it this year. Some time ago we already granted several budgets for outreach activities. , " he added. (Endah / IST )
