INFOKU, BLORA – Ghofur, a disabled person from Plosorejo Village, Banjarejo District, this year has made up his mind to join the political arena.
He registered as a candidate for members of the DPR RI. Want to voice the aspirations of people with disabilities at the central level.
"I see that the disabilities in Blora, Rembang, Grobogan, Pati have not been touched. In addition, many disabilities are hidden by their parents because they are considered a disgrace,” said the disabled person, who currently has prosthetic legs installed on both legs.
He wanted to set an example that persons with disabilities can also be part of the legislature.
He formed the Blora disability community to accommodate aspirations.

Some of what has been fought for is the drafting of the Blora Disability Perda. Also some of the assistance currently being provided to persons with disabilities.
"Since then I have had dreams of accommodating existing disability problems," he explained.
This middle-aged man has received a recommendation for legislative candidates from the central leadership of one of the political parties since June 4. He advanced with recklessness and determination.
No political dowry was given to the party. Likewise with the constituency voters.
