INFOKU, Cepu, BLORA -Cepu Type A Terminal, Blora, began to be revitalized by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation with a total budget from the center of IDR 32 billion. After being revitalized, it is hoped that the terminal will have multiple functions.
Later it will not only function as a place for boarding and alighting passengers.
However, after being revitalized, the terminal is expected to have other functions.
Such as stimulating the economy in Cepu, by helping provide space for MSMEs, as well as community social activities.
The revitalization of the Cepu Terminal was marked by a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction which was carried out Friday (15/6/2023), by the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation Inspector General of Police Hendro Sugiatno, member of the Indonesian Parliament Sudewo and Blora Regent Arief Rohman.
Also attending the groundbreaking were Forkopimda Blora, Acting Director of Road Transportation Infrastructure, Head of BPTD Class II Central Java, Head of Dinrumkimhub Blora, Forkopimcam Cepu.

Director General Hendro Sugiatno hopes that the revitalization of the Cepu terminal will not only improve transportation services, but also serve to grow the local economy.
"This terminal does not only function for getting on and off passengers, but there are uses there. There are economic functions that are growing, there are MSMEs, there are community activities, there are meeting rooms that can accommodate maybe 200-250 people who can be accommodated, please the people of Cepu so they can take advantage of it," he explained.
In fact, he also wants the regional government to be able to encourage MSMEs to enliven the terminal, for example by making it a culinary center.

"The bus might be able to stop at 5 pm, but at night (the economy) continues to grow. Maybe the Regent can develop culinary centers in Cepu later to be able to stand at this terminal," explained the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation.
The Director General said, seeing that the data on the movement of buses and people is indeed quite high in Cepu and also indicating that the economic growth in Cepu is very good, we have an obligation to revitalize the terminal.
"We are doing a groundbreaking revitalization of the Cepu terminal. We will make it even better and God willing, it will become a very representative building in Cepu in our efforts to provide good service for the people of Cepu or people who visit Cepu by bus, so they will get a good place," he said.

He continued, this revitalization is budgeted for a total of IDR 32 billion with funds sourced from SBSN and is targeted to be completed this year. Various standard facilities will also be built to improve terminal services and functions. (Setyorini/KOM)
